Is it possible to setup an extension that forwards to the users VM on a NuPoint server, so they can receive the "VM-to-Email" option, without having a physical phone?

I usually create a phantom extension as type trusted and reroute it always to vm hunt group

There are several ways to do this... I usually use an ACD Express Path, set unavailable number to VM hunt group. You could also use a Hunt Group, ACD Path, or a host of other devices that don't take licenses to make this happen.
