hi there

im having difficulty getting ring groups to work - at all. any ideas as to what i am missing?

You might want to provide some details on what you're trying to accomplish and what exactly isn't working.

I want incoming calls to go to another number if the number dialled doesnt answer.

i have put both numbers in a terminal cascade group.

And you set your timers accordingly? And there's no re-routing enabled on the number being dialed?

The Cascade Ring timer is how long the call will ring before cascading to the next member of the group. Call Ringing Timer needs to be set longer than the Cascade Ring timer, otherwise the call will re-route or overflow before cascading to the next member. The "help" documentation should cover this.
