Title: Emergency Phone

Hi
I have a customer who requires a Red emergency phone which will sit next to the alarm system and needs to dial out on pickup to the emergency services is this something easily setup on the Mitel and is there a place to get red no button ip phone which can be set to dial on pickup

It's real easy to set up an auto dial phone.
Program up the phone, then in the Associated Directory add it in there along with where you want it to dial to (make it a speed dial with Toll override enabled.)

Thanks, but how do i program it to dial the moment i pick up the receiver and would this work if i used a analog set

That's what Associated Directory Number does.

Go to the Associated Directory Number form and click Help, look for Hotline, should be pretty self explanatory from there.

I would say this will only work for analog (or MiNet phone). SIP phone has to handle the Hotline feature by itself.

It works on analog, digital, and MiNET phones... will not work with SIP devices, but most of them that need to do this can be programmed to send a specific SIP destination (number) when you go off-hook.
