Title: callerID on warm transfer

when a user is warm transfer i get different caller id based on Prime Line versus Multidevice line
all users have 4 line appearances.  and if the warm transfer comes in on the prime line then the caller id shows the call id of the internal phone that is performing the transfer.  if the recipient is on the prime and the calls lights up the secondary line appearance the caller id shows the originating outside caller ID. 
can some one explain the difference and is this configurable to always show the internal number?

Check your COS option for 'Display Held Call ID on Transfer' on both the trunk and phone.
