Mitel Gurus,
Has anyone had an issue with RTP traffic not being passed by a SonicWall TZ 210 or any SonicWall firewall for that matter. We have an IT guy who configured the Firewall per the technical guidelines from NexVortex and the Call Control is working fine, but there is no audio. I verified the programming in the system is correct and when they pass all traffic to public IP being forwarded to the 5000 it works fine.
Thanks,
TE

NAT settings on the 5000 possibly (No NAT)?

drumster34,
This is an RTP issue with the audio traffic, the control through 5060 is working fine.
Thanks,

Everyone,
Alright, so I had their IT guys do the following steps.
1. Turn off SIP Transformations: We are behind the firewall.
2. Turn on Consistent NAT
3. Opened port 6004 to 7039 UDP for RTP traffic to the 5000
All seems to be working now.
Thanks,
TE

TE,
Sorry. The only reason I asked was because I recently had a customer move to SIP trunks with a provided SBC. Calls in and out could be completed but there was no audio. The 5000 was set to SIP aware NAT for whatever reason.
Ahhhh yes....the pesky VoIP tab on the Sonicwall
