Title: Mitel Cabinets (HX and CS)
Post by: irongladiator on August 12, 2016, 06:51:52 PM
Hello Mitel Folks,
As we're all aware, Mitel has two current flavors of cabinet for the MiVoice Office 250 platform (Mitel 5000). I was curious if anyone here knew what the "HX" or "CS" stood for (if anything).

Thanks,
-Iron

I'm not sure but I'm going to guess

HX - Hybrid eXchange
CS - Call Server

May not be relevant to the Mitel but I think similar terminology have been used on other systems.

CS was discontinued in 2010.
HX is still in current production.

CS is no longer supoprted on the latest Firmware either, apparently 6.1 is the highest it will go officially.
