Title: "Base Station" number (hot desk configuration)
Post by: SimonIFF on August 12, 2016, 05:38:40 AM
We're in the process of moving many users to hot-desk.

I'm setting up base station extensions. Is there a way to see what base station extension number is applied to a particular base station? We're mostly 5312s & 5212s.

This is while no-one is logged-in (with LOCKED in the display)

Any info much appreciated.

Pressing the blue Superkey and then Key 1 (the prime DN key) does not work?

I thought as soon as you enabled allowing hotdesk logins in the COS for the those phones it showed the DN on the LCD.

Thanks for the tips.

Superkey is not responsive when not logged in, Superkey then '1' just displays '1' (and so on for any other number, or '*' or '#')

When not logged on all we see is "Locked" in the display. *31 for hot desk login works as it should. Once logged in we can see the hot desk extension number as normal.

I was thinking there may be a feature code for "Display base station number" or similar.

Phew, I've answered my own question. For anyone else looking for the answer:

When going to log-in (default FAC *31), after a few seconds the display will automatically show the base station DN, and then after about a second display "Enter Your Ext#".

Face-palm. It's that simple after all, i.e. patience is the key!
