Title: SW upgrade from 2.2 to 2.4

I have a license for inter tel 5000 which is 2.2 SW can I upgrade to 2.4 SW and have no license issues?

No... you can only upgrade to another 2.2.x.x version, to upgrade to a 2.4.x.x version a new license is required.

A.B.C.D

If A or B changes, a new license is required, if only C or D changes no license change is required.

You can upgrade, but the system will reboot every 240 minutes until a valid license is loaded.
