Title: How do I stop the helpdesk from adjusting the ringer volume?
Post by: Mila on June 22, 2010, 01:35:29 AM
Hi

I'm new. And fed up with the help desk adjusting the ringer volume on their Mitel 5212 phones. They turn it down and ignore the calls. How do I save the volume and stop them from adjusting it again >:( >:( >:(

Sorry.  I don't think there is a way to lock the ringing volume.   Just to be sure I checked the help files and there is nothing related to controlling the volume of a ring.

I am not sure if this will work or not but in class of service there is an option called "Handset volume saved" or something like that.

Try setting it to no.

Or just fire one of the help desk people as a warning to others to do their job.
