I know I may about 2 weeks early for this but has anyone see a link on the Mitel site for customers to be able to DL the free UCE version?

Not seen a link but got the newsletter to say that it was free for MCD4.1

I wonder if that means it won't work pre 4.1.

It was my understanding that it will work with pre-release 4.1 systems, but its only meant to be available to "new" customers which should all be being installed with 4.0 SP3 or 4.1.

That is unless its a new/special version of the UCE software. The version that we've sold previously actually communicates directly with the phone, and really doesn't know of or care about the MCD at all.

I have this running on a site pre 4.1. The UCE will only work with 53xx phones.

It had an effective date on it (15th May 2010 from memory) any orders placed after that would be FOC. Anyone who paid for it before hand won't get refunded.

Think I worded my earlier post wrongly it stated 'MCD' customers not 'MCD4.1' customers.

It says that you can get them trough either MoL or sales workbench order.
