Need a bit of advice of you Wizards! :P
Mitel 5000 with a few handsets
Problem:
When a user is on the phone and anonther call comes in (could be a hunt group call or DDI) the user gets ringing on his phone and it interrupts the current call. (Current call blanks off until the phone stops ringing)
Checks:
Have checked forwarding paths which should forward once the user is busy
Have turned flags 'Camp onto ars, and allowed Camp on's (I think thats what it is called)
Am i missing something here??
Thanks

Ryskie,
Are you saying that they are getting the camp-on tone in their ear and that causes them to not hear the person they are talking to or are you saying that the original call no longer has any audio and the phone rings as though they are not on a call at all?
Thanks,
TE

HI,
They get a camp on tone, the current call that is active is no longer heard until another user picks the ringing call up, then the users gets audio to their active call.

Ryskie,
I hate to say this, but that sounds like a bug. Camp-on tone should not cause a current call to lose audio until it is answered.
What version of software are you on?
Thanks,
TE

Hi,
The version is 6.0.11
Its the only phone that gets this error, and we have never had problems with it.

Ryskie,
Have you turned off Camp-On tones from Hunt Groups and Regular Calls?
Thanks,

HI TE,
Yeah both set to no.
Thanks

Ryskie,
Have you tried swapping out the phone with another one and see if the problem follows the phone or stays with the extension.
Thanks,
