Title: Hands Free Answerback on 5000?

I have a customer that wants to be able to page all phones and have them answerback, without having to press anything. Does anyone know if this is possible on the 5000? I know on the 3300 it is possible with a Hands Free Answerback.

That feature is not supported.

Set Handsfree On/Off Flag to Yes
Set Ring Intercom Always On/off to No
In the forwarding path of the phone make sure Fwd Call Type - IC Calls is set to No

That will enable handsfree intercom calls station to station. It will not allow a group of phones to be paged and answerback.

Thanks for the responses. I'll just have to convince him that using the intercom is better.
