Hi
Is there anyway we can monitor call usage on the 3300 i have a client who has a 30 room care home wanted phones in each room but also wants to know if each user are using the phone excessively, i didn't know if there was a feature to monitor and report this, as the telecom stated that if they bought a 30-40 ddi range they would only report the whole bill on the first number.

Call logging will do that for you. Will report on a per extension basis. There are a couple of free ones I believe and some basic ones that are not much money. You could also drag off the call report via telnet and save it to a file and then run a simple find to see each extenion usage. |make sure your smdr options are all set otherwise you may miss a setting you want.
telnet to 1752 with putty or the like for the output.

Hi x-man,

Could you please share some please? We communicated with some company that is providing call accounting solution but they stopped communicating with us and we would like to find some alternative.

You can also export SMDR log from the ICP Scheduler if you wish.
Thanks

Johnp wrote "Simple SMDR" that will track usage.
You may be able to adapt it for your needs.
You can DL it here: mitelforums.com/software/ (http://mitelforums.com/software/)

Just stick free call recording in google and it comes up with a few.

https://sourceforge.net/projects/opensmdr/ is an open source call accounting software... I don't know much about it though.

Has anyone gotten any of these free/open source packages to work with a cluster? I have a K12 customer with about a 10 node cluster looking for a solution, but, being a K12 district in the US, they have no money to spend on a commercial package.
