Title: Mitel 3300 CX to LX controller switch

Can you successfully backup a database out of a 3300 CX and restore it into a 3300 LX without any additional programming needed?

Some things may error. You may have to delete embedded analogue etc and the vmail ports will be different (4 on CX and 20 on LX default)

  I would go through and delete all devices that are different.  Basically all the TDM stuff.  I'd expect the IP phones and related config to be OK.

  That advices is solely based on what I have read heard and other places.  I have never done a disparate hardware restore personally. :)
