Title: Monitoring

what is everyone Monitoring using Automation, Like Solarwinds Orion, or the some other SNMP, SEIM, monitor and alerting?  we just installed our 3300 and i would like to start setting up automated monitoring.  your thoughts?

Using Zabbix to poll the alarm state with SNMP. All you can see is that there is an alarm, not what the specific issue is, although it's great having it on the Zabbix dashboard.

MCD can send an email with the alarm details if you want.

There are some settings for SNMP traps but I don't have a trap collector so I haven't investigated what it actually does. I think you can designate some DNs as emergency destinations, and a trap will be sent when they're dialled.

Still no support for syslog on 7.2.
