Title: Mitel 3340IP Phone Error
Post by: squatch197 on January 13, 2016, 10:38:59 AM
I have a user that has had multiple dropped calls that started about a week ago.  I can't find anything in the logs on the 3300 and the only error that comes up is directly on the phone and all it shows is ERROR and nothing else.  She was talking to the same customer but different people at different branches while this occurred.  Has anyone else experienced this?

In this case I would expect an issue somewhere between you and the customer - not with your carrier or PBX.
What you can do is have your carrier put a trace on the line to see if they can spot the cause.

I was hoping for that as the answer.  Thank you for the quick reply.  Has anyone else had this issue?

I've seen something similar. We ended up opening a ticket with Mitel and they determined that it was a bad firmware load on the phones. They had us do an upgrade to correct for it.
