Has anyone tried this? Client is looking for a cost effective cordless option, and whats to use SIP based phones not analog.
-
Haven't used that model specifically, but most SIP ATAs will work as a generic SIP device. We use the Grandstream GXW series all the time with no issues.
-
You happen to have a cheat sheet for this. In Mitel's Sip CoE, they don't list a config guide fro Grandstream.
Thanks in advance.

Just generic SIP up the concurrent call session to 2 (I don't remember the name of the field at the moment), everything pretty much default in the 5000. I the grandstream set SIP server as IP address of 5000 and then build port on GS with username/login/password same as ext in 5000.
Thats all we ever do.

Acejavelin,
I think you are referring to the Maximum Number of Calls which can be found under
System > Devices and Feature Codes > SIP Peers > SIP Phone Groups > {group} > Configuration: Maximum Number of Calls.
Thanks,
TE

Guys:
Thanks for the assistance and settings info. After banging on it for a while, I got it to work using this info.
As always, this board is a great resource.
