Title: Who's Triggering Nights
Post by: bluewhite4 on November 04, 2015, 04:29:06 PM
I've received a complaint from a customer that the system is changing between night and day-modes without the main receptionist performing it.

Isn't there a way in the logs to see what/who is changing it?

I have a theory that it's a PC console receptionist via OIA, but would like to know for certain.

Thanks!

Probably available in logs, I'll have to search.  But an immediate solution would be to remove administrator rights from all but one phone.

System log does show when and how the system is put in Day or Night service.

Ace, does software level matter on this? Or that the system has a PS-1?

This system would be running 5.1 and I'm not seeing anything in syslog or cp_system_log

The log will show when the system was put into night mode, but not who did it.
