i am trying to access administrator mailbox by dialing 9999 or (*9999 it says invalid) so is there any prerequisite so i can access the administrator mailbox??
-
You need to dial the voicemail system before entering *9999 to log in as the admin mailbox.
You also need to make sure you have set the passcode in the VM Options form on later systems.
-
how could i access or dial the voicemail system?
-
The question leads me to believe that maybe you shouldn't be in the admin mailbox. :o
If you have access to programming then the VM Pilot number will be programmed as a huntgroup (voicemail type)
Dialing this number would enter the voicemail system.

what do you mean by vm pilot number ? thanx for your patience :(

He means the number you dial or speed call button you press to access your voicemail box/system (not the envelope key)... there is an extension assigned to the hunt group for the voicemail system, regardless if it is embedded or external, you need to dial that extension number (or press the programmed key on your phone) and after it answers enter *9999 followed by the password assigned in ESM to log into the mailbox.
If you don't know this extension, have a speed dial button for it, or know how to access ESM, I suggest you contact you authorized system administrator or Mitel vendor.
