Can anyone point me in the right direction on disabling or turning off the beep that indicates an incoming call on the handset of the Mitel 5300 on a Mitel 5000 VOIP system? I have 2 receptionist stations and on 1 of the receptionist handset it will beep interrupting the active call when a new call comes in. I have set the camp-on flag to "no" and the send alert burst is set to "disabled". They would like only for the light to flash on incoming calls with no beep or alert on the handset. Any help on this would be appreciated...
Thanks

Using Mitel wireless handset or headset?

Using Mitel handset 5300, no wireless or headset.

Copy the station flags from the station that works properly to the one having problems. If it were a headset, I would say it's Hunt Group Camp-On Indications. Perhaps it still is.

Thanks for the input. I have set all the flags to match the other extension and I have turned off camp on alerts on the hunt group and the receptionist is still getting the beep or alert that interrupts the audio on the handset. Any other suggestions? Thanks again for any input or suggestions on this topic.

I know this is a old post but I ran across this same problem and found that the phone was manually forwarded to an invalid destination. Cleared all forwarding and the beeping went away.
