Title: Cordless Handset for 5340

I have a cordless handset that beeps three times and then disconnects the call. Does anyone know what three beeps indicate? Bad battery? These are about 4 years old.

Next topic. Can the battery be replaced? I opened up the handset and see that there is a soldered on battery.

Easy battery check: press blue key, select CORDLESS DEVICES, should show charge state.

The batteries are not replaceable, you just replace the handset and sync it to the base.

I would first unpair the handset, charge it overnight, then try to re-pair. If it will not pair or respond it could be the battery or a bad handset.

I found a supplier on Alibaba that has the battery type that the handset uses. They are like $38 for 20 pieces. I think I'll give them a try. I have 3 dead ones at the moment.
