Hi, currently whenever any of our users press 9 for an outside line, the caller ID number we use is our main reception number. Some of my users want to have the option to be able to make calls with their DDI number as the CLI. Is it possible to set up our system so that pressing 8 for an outside line will dial out via the same SIP trunks but use the different (non-default) CLI.
Thanks in advance..

Temple,
The short answer is no as the CLID is referred to as the Calling Party Number and it only has the one field to fill in.
Thanks,
TE

A little bit messy, but you could create HOT DESK extensions that use the other CALLING PARTY NUMBERs, then log in as that user to send the alternate CLID.

Or loop analog stations to trunk ports, put the trunks in a group and put a key on the phone for the trunk group (or set an easy FAC), and set a different CLID on the analog stations...
Press TG button, get analog station dial tone... Dial 9+Destination and it will present the analog extensions CLID.

Hot Desking would be a pretty slick way to do this. You could point the DDI to a hunt group that rings both the phone and hot desk profile so incoming calls wouldn't be missed.

You can do this with Phone Manager version 4 and the Professional license. You can setup multiple buttons to change your outgoing CLI. So once setup, click the button, CPN gets changed in programming, dial the number you need and it presents that number. Then click another button when you want to change to something else.
