Title: Upload VM Greeting?
Post by: JasonTL on September 16, 2015, 03:11:01 PM
This seems it would be easy to set up, but I am having an issue. Can you upload a .wav file as the outgoing greeting for a specific mailbox? I see the option in the system audio files update form, but it doesn't seem to be active after I upload it. Can someone walk me through this? I have the file and the mailbox #.

Yes it is possible, ive done it a few times

1. the .wav file need to be in the right format, u-Law, Mono, 8KHz
2. the initial voicemail box setup must have been completed (you know when you call the voicemail for the first time and it gets you to setup pin, name, greeting etc, this all needs to be completed first, just do a dummy greeting until you load your .wav file)
