Not sure where to post this, sorry.
I am new to mitel phone systems and I recently inherited this system at work.
So i am having an issue with this phone. Came in this morning and was told the phone wouldnt come on. Countless resets, no idea why this wont work.
It sits on a screen that says:
BOOT 8.6 MAIN 8.19
(c) MITEL 1999
The top light is flashing, and all of the buttons are blinking in a cycle.
My guess is it cant communicate with the server. When i log into the system via IP, everything looks normal. The user is there (honestly havent done much in here other than normal user changes)
Im not sure how to check to see if the phone is seeing the system, or if I need to reset something.
I have searched all over and found nothing, I cant even find any technical documentation for this phone online, just end user handbooks.

Did you try the phone at a known good working location?

Countless resets is your clue here... this is a communication issue (bad connection) or bad hardware (phone or port). Try replacing line cord, reterminating the punch downs, etc, then swap phones with a known working device, if phone works on another port and known good phone does not, probably a bad port, if problem follows phone, bad phone.

I missed that this was a DNI set.
Try rebooting the card next.

Not sure if the card position is programmed for the proper set type
