I just finish install Mitel 3300 for a hotel, they have T-1 trunk both way(D4,AMI), can not transfer a call on either IP Phone or Digital phone,
When receive the incoming call, place the call on transfer/conference button, not thing happen!
I did check system option: interconnect checking for conference call- Disable
interconnect restriction - no restriction for all interconnect
analog set, staff, admin IP Phone, T-1 trunk COS option:Disable Brokers call, Enable the public network to public network connection, Enable public trunk.
Thanks,
Michael

You have to dial the extension or push the dss/blf key or are you saying you don't get dial tone after pressing transfer key?
-
I did not get any dial tone when I push transfer/conference button, just like nothing happen.
-
Have you tried dialling anyway?
-
Yes! after I push transfer/conf button (usually system will give me back dial tone but it didn't), then when dial extension just give me key pad tone.
-
Anything in the fault logs?
-
I didn't see any fault logs on Maintenance.
-
Broker's call disabled in COS of phones? Apart from a faulty 3300 thats about all I can think of.
-
Broker's call Disable on COS of Guest, Staff, Admin, T-1 Trunk, CO Trunk.
-
Try and see if an internal call will work.
Isolating the trunks out of the scenario.
-
Internal call was working for transfer and also conference too.
-
Are they real T1 or are they being delivered by a SIP gateway that is converting to T1?
-
They are real T-1 before cut over was connect to PBX Mitel SX-200 EL with software LW19 working fine, We just upgrade to MItel 3300 because size issue.
-
Long shot but have you got the system registered as in the correct country and all the T1 programming checked and verified? Correct protocols etc in programming? Sorry I'm clutching at straws now...it just looks like some kind of D channel issue...
-
X-man, I just check 3300 system program as follow:

Did I miss any configuration? Please let me know, Thanks a lot!

Is this between two systems or is to connect to the PSTN? because your setting for main pbx rather than central office? I was kinda working under the assumption that this was a T1 straight in to give you pstn access rather than a networking line....
-
It also working fine with CO trunks transfer/conference call too, (we just test it today). But not working for T1(real T1).
Please help me!
-
Is the T1 connecting two systems?
-
X-man, Stand alone One system only. T1 Super trunk both way with DID.
-
X-man, It is connect to PSTN, but I try Local office or Toll office, stay the same. Shall I suppose reset system?
-
Have you got the correct country entered into Licence and options form?
Try making it a DID circuit instead of a Digital E&M in trunk circuit descriptors and then follow the programming for that in (again I assume) embedded T1/E1 programming
-
Country was correct, I will try to follow up your step later afternoon today. Thanks
-
X-man, I did change it to Digital DID Trunk descriptor assignment, DID both way won't work any more, so I change it back.
-
Out of ideas I'm afraid.
-
X-man, After I reset 3300 it is working now, with Digital DID Trunk Descriptor Assignment.
Thank you very much for your consistent support... Without your help I will still suffer this issue for a long long time.
You are the man!
-
Your very welcome.
-
X-man, Transfer call is working, but customer can not make out going call with Digital
DID Trunk Descriptor assignment, No choice I have to change it back again. :'(
-
X-man, I think Digital DID Trunk Descriptor Assignment is for T1 incoming only, not for both way.
-
I doubt it. I think you are missing some programming somewhere when you change the descriptor. Are you changing the Digital Trunk form to match the new settings? Other than that I am out of ideas I'm afraid.
Are you using ARS to route outgoing calls? have you changed the trunk group to suit the new trunk group you created when using DID? or did you just mirror the trunk groups?
Other than that I am out of ideas. What protocol have you got selected?
-
X-man, When I using Digital DID Trunk Circuit Desc. I did changing the Digital Trunk form
from Circuit Descpritor number 1(Digital E&M Trunk Circuit) to 3(Digital DID Trunk Circuit)
all other remain the same,no change at Trunk Attributes, Digital Link Descriptors, Trunk Gp.
I did using ARS to route outgoing calls, I did not change the trunk group since all 24 Digital Trunk Circuit has been change from 1 to 3.
The Protocol I am using T1/D4, the reason I said Digital DID Trunk Circuit Descriptor is
for incoming only because they only have following choice:
Number:3, Ignore Far End Disconnect:NO, Release Acknowledge Timer:80, Address Signalling:
DTMF, Incoming Start Type:Wink, Far End Connection:Local Office, Flash Timer:300 that it.
how about outgoing start type? Disconnect time...
Can Digital E&M Trunk circuit Descriptor using for straight to PSTN?
Shall be right? I must missing some program of it.
Can you give me more opinion?
Thanks a lot!
-
The only other option is Digital CO trunk.
-
The Digital CO Trunk Circuit Descriptors form is used to assign signaling and timing parameters to groups of DS1 CO trunk circuits using channel associated signaling (CAS).
Use this form when performing the following tasks:
Program T1/D4 Trunks
Alternatively ask your T1 supplier what protocol you should be using for their T1 circuit.
-
How about DID incoming? Using Digital CO Trunk Circuit may have problem to locate DID call.
-
Which is why I said to use the DID programming. I would vape all the programming for the lines and start from scratch after checking with your provider the required protocol just to make sure.
-
Thanks, I need check my T1/D4 program step by step.
