Title: Mitel 5330 cant answer to call

user has to press the extension key to answer calls. it does not answer when pull up the hand set when phone rings.
any idea/suggestions

its either a multicall key or a keyline key in all probability. Its not the prime line.

Two possibilities.
1) The headset feature is turned on.
2) The COS does not have the Non-prime off hook answer feature turned on.   (I can't remember the exact feature name.)

FYI,

COS for answering non-prime (Multicall) by lifting the handset and not pressing the button is called 'Ringing Line Select'

Go to Maintenance Commands and enter "Locate Feat ext <extension>"

got it. yes, it was headset turned on. turned off the headset key and phone is working normal.
