Title: DDI Call pickup on 5330e phones

Hi

I have a setup of 28 5330e phones working on a 3300 mitel system.    In this setup i have:-

13 phones on an ACD / IVR (call centre setup) which i have no issue with
15 phones purely used in the office for DDI calls

How do I for example, program a group of DDI phones to be part of a pickup group, and then use the handset to pickup DDI calls.  This is an example of what i want to achieve:-

three desks with extn = 2576, 2579, 2590

phone rings on desk 2576 but person has gone to make a cup of tea, person using 2579 uses their handset to pickup this call.

The system i'm using is yoursite explorer version 6.0.2.

There is a form called "Pickup Groups".
Create a new group and add all your extensions to it.

As Ralph said there is a Pickup Groups form but you won't find it in Your Site Explorer, it is found by browsing to your phone system IP address.
Once all the phones are added to the same group you would use the code as set in 'Feature Access Codes' form to pickup a call.

You can also program a Pickup key on the phone that will flash (if you have current software.)

If you only have a small number of users and have keys to spare you could program DSS/BLF keys to have an appearance of these phones on the buttons, this could also be used to pickup calls for those programmed extensions.

Pickup key flashes in release 8.0 of 3300 ICP; as I have just found out....

thanks for your help and assistance on this. 

 I had a look at pick up groups this afternoon but no extensions appeared in the list for adding (it as completely blank), i was able to create an extension group (all my extensions were appearing in this screen) but i have no idea how to go about programming the call pickup from the actual 5330e phone  - I've managed to add a feature called 'call pickup' to a button but when i test this within the extension group i get a message which says 'NOT ALLOWED' ? I'm guessing this is because i have my ext's in an extn group and not pick up group ........  arghhh !

I guess I'm a bit confused.
You created a hunt group?  But couldn't find the extensions in a list?
Are you using a 3300 or a 5000?
