Title: Preview before dialling

Hello,

I have a client who would like to preview the number before they dial.  They have an issue where they will start to dial then look away from the phone to look at the number and the phone will time out before they can continue dialling.  I know that I can adjust the timers but I was hoping there might be a feature that I haven't found that allows for preview dialling.  This is a feature that can be toggled on or off on another brand of system that I've worked on in the past.

Rasritz,

Off the top of my head I do not believe that is a feature that is allowed in the 5000. What you could possibly do is change the Interdigit - Long Timer to a higher number so it waits longer before trying to validate whether it is a valid number or not; I do not think 0 is valid option which would be what you call your preview.

Or give them a SIP phone...
