Markdevoll,

How exactly are you getting the IP Information to the phones; the DHCP server off the 5000? Are you using LLDP to get your VLAN information to get to a DHCP server? If you manually set a phone with network information does it work?

Thanks,

TE

im not doing dhcp for anything for the phones. im putting in ip address, gateway address, subment mask, icp and tftp address manualy... the phone system is .250 and im putting that in for tftp and icp.

it is a data switch issue. im using that switch for setup purpose not production so the switches at site are ok.

Check System/IP Settings/Enable On-board TFTP Server -- it may be set to No

it was something to do with the data switch. as soon as i connected the phones to the customer switch it did the update.
