Title: blocking incoming calls to DID
Post by: kankoon on April 20, 2015, 09:58:50 AM
Our main number is a DID that gets stripped one number.. this number is then a ring group number.. and then misc numbers in that ring group.. which our then added as key line system keys on phone.. we have PRI.. 3300CX MCD 5

our telephone provider says a police report is about all we got.. and she mentioned our PBX has the blocking capability.. from what I have read we need some additional feature/equipment for this.. can we block bare bones w/o anything special? thanks

I'm not sure that I understand what the problem is.
But I think that you're trying to block certain numbers from being able to dial into the PBX.

No.  You can't do that.

If you have SIP trunks then there is a big "maybe", but in general you won't be able to block specific numbers from dialing in.
