Title: Mitel's PoE Standards

Hi All,
Assuming that Mitel conforms with the 802.3af standards of PoE, and based on the chart below, what mode does it use to supply PoE?

**UPDATE**
I may have answered my own question here. So I found this in the "Engineering Guidelines":

We also use these PoE injectors for those customers who don't have a PoE switch:

Correct me if I'm wrong here but it sounds like the Mitel IP phones are capable of both "Phantom" and "Spare Pair" power. Whereby PoE Switches will use the "Phantom" type to deliver power and the PoE Injectors use "Spare Pair" type to deliver power.

Its my understanding that they're capable of both. In fact I think we've done both as well.

You would have to look into specific switches to know if they deliver via spare pair or phantom. Mitel is only saying if you use their Controller PoE ports (only on the CXi) they are phantom delivery. That's interesting.... I didn't realize that actually. I expect if you look into it most PoE switches are going to deliver via spare pair.
