Will?
Some people have used this product?
-
Hugh, your question is not clear.
We use Mitel Streamline product.
-
I recently had a case need to use him!
I asked this question:
1.) RJ21 >> 2.) 110 block >> 3.) cable >> 4.) RJ11 >> 5.) Dongle >> 6.) RJ45 >>> 7.) IP Phone.
If the power is turned on Mitel Streamline case :
4.) cable shorted, Mitel Streamline equipment damage it will happen?
-
I think what hugh is asking is if there is a short in the wiring will it damage the equipment?
I would doubt that it would. I don't have any experience with the product but I would thing there is circuitry that would keep it from being damaged.

Thank you, Ralph,
This is what I need,
I was afraid of the construction process, engineers because the cable short circuit;
Causing equipment damage .......!
May I ask there used Mitel StreamLine engineers can give some considerations ??
Thank you for help!

I don't know of short circuits on the Streamline but we've had many units fail. They have power but the phones would behave so strangely like not being able to pick up an IP address.
There's also logs on the streamline that show "unable to update clock" etc.

Thank mszodiac!
They have power but the phones would behave so strangely like not being able to pick up an IP address.
Whether this situation is a cable junction attenuation Causing it ??
Wish everyone a Happy !!

It's quicker if you just swap Streamline units to see if the problem follows.
Also, the Streamline ports have to be added to the correct vlans otherwise your IP phones wont pick up an IP.

Thank you, mszodiac !!
Thank you for giving me valuable advice!
