Hi Everyone,
I have some phones in close proximity to speakers in a warehouse environment. When equipment is running, the environment is pretty loud so the volume needs to be high on the speakers. If someone picks one of those phones up and tries to page, they receive horrible feedback. Short term i will just remove the page keys from those phones, but my question is- is there a way to delay the page? So you could pick the phone up, make your page, hang up, and then the page would go through...
Any help would be great!
Thanks!

Viking FBI-1A does just that, Google it for sources.

Yes the FBI-1A works great. I can be set to repeat the page which is helpful in noisy environments

Thanks guys, so it basically just grabs the page and stores it for a few seconds then plays it? would the page still immediately come out of the phones and then again out the speakers? If so, i'd just remove the phones near speakers from the page group...
Thanks again for the replies!!

correct, phones would not delay. this device sits on either the page port or an unused trunk port of the 5000, then connects to the paging amp or powered speakers on the other end.

Great, thank you guys very much! I ordered one of those.
