Title: MiVoice Business Console

Hi Guys,
we have recently started using the new R7.0 IP console and I am trying to set up the BLF field List. I'm not sure if I am going about his the correct way but here goes:
1, Directory - Edit BLF List
2, Create a new BLF List
3. Search using he Find names starting with ....

When I get to this stage I receive no results. I was gambling that this would search the MCD directory and list all users, and then I could add them to the new list.

Is this not the case and if so how, do you populate the new BLF List!!

Any help greatly appreciated, I'm losing the little hair I had left!!!

I've not tried to create a BLF list in the new Business Console, but on the old 5550, phones had to be monitored by BLF's somewhere on the system first in order to show up in the BLF List of the Console.

So if this is a new system install, you'll need to create a DSS/BLF either on physical or phantom phones of ever phone that you want in the console's BLF list, before they can actually show up to be added to the console's BLF list.

Alternatively you can add the extensions you want to see to the remote BLF form.

Hi ,

you have to create phantom extension with DSS busy lamp for all users . in my case i have 500 users sor i create 7 phantom extension (6940) to have 96 keys. then i can add my users to Blf List.

some one know how to populate  Blf list  without Phantom extension ?

I use 5324 with dual pkm's and I get more keys :-)

Why not but you have to create all users. In my case i was not able to create my users with spreadsheet key assignments... Dont know why. Anyway the question is : it is possible to upload all users from console without creating dss busy lamp
