Title: Admin Group Alarms Summary are different
Post by: mszodiac on January 07, 2015, 03:36:09 PM
How do I make the Admin Group Alarm Summary report the correct alarm status of all controllers? For example:

My admin group is : IPTel Group

I've got MCD1, MCD2, MCD3, MCD4, and MCD5.  They all have the same read only community string.  At the very top corner of MCD1, I see Group 'IPTel Group' Alarm Status: Major.  But when I click on MCD2, I see no alarms.  I've disabled/renabled Admin Group Management.

I usually go to the snmp configuration and do a change and save when this happens

Yes, I've done that too.  Same problem.

Interesting, I didn't know of a way to shake this issue loose. I usually just wait (and wait) for it to resolve on it's own.

I got this working by setting "Accept Requests From All Managers" to NO.  I entered all the IP addresses of all the elements belonging to the admin group, then resetting Admin Group management to disable/enable.
