Has anyone else experienced this issue? Reps are working from home due to bad weather using the Mitel Teleworker solution and complaining of static? TIA
-
Is there any compression is use via the teleowrker server?
-
There is not but that was suggested as a solution to the problem.

Compression may help but once you hit the internet there is no QOS at all. Your pretty much at the mercy of the internet gods at that point when it comes to loss packets so even with compression you could experience some static.

If you are going to implement compression for teleworkers I wsould suggest that you do this via the 3300 rather than the teleworker. Configuring compression on the server itself adds a considerable load to the servers processor and TBH in my experience has caused as many problems as its solved. I know there is a cost to compression via 3300 but it is better suited to handling it.

When using teleworker phones, make sure also that the PC's / Laptops are plugged into the back of the phone, this will sort out priority for the phone over the PC.
