Title: Call history for a certain extension
Post by: HOWSITGOING on December 18, 2014, 11:01:07 AM
Hello,

We currently use a Mitel 3300 system and are having an issue with someone prank calling 911. We are trying to find about what extension is being used to make the prank 911 calls.  How can one search the phone logs to find out what extension dialed 911?

Thanks

From the command line enter: logs re smdr new 1000 ma 911.
If SMDR is turned on you should see it.
Next, verify that 911 is routed out a unique route and is set to "emergency".
If it is you can read through your maintenance logs and you will see who made the call.

On top of what Ralph said if you have the route marked as emergency you can set up a feature called emergency services local notification.

Search your help file for "Emergency Services"

COS for extensions...SMDR (internal and external)

In two places.
As X-man mentioned - in COS but also in the SMDR form.
