Title: Time Zones
Post by: GZgidnick on December 16, 2014, 01:38:05 AM
Hi guys,

I am trying to configure different timezones for different phones including some hunt and pickup groups.
I found that I can specify the zones into Network Zones form. From there on I can't find how to apply the zones to a extension/hunt/pickup

Ultimately some of those numbers should terminate to NuPoint CallDirector for different queue routing purposes.
I am going through the documentation but cant seems to find what and where should be set.

Any help is appreciated.

You can assign the zone to the extension in the station attribute.

Thanks for your reply.

To be more specific, here's my issue.

I have Hunt Group 300 configured with a CallDirector Mailbox. There are no members in the Hunt, only 300. I got the switch preconfigured, and I am taking over the administration. I see no reason why 300 is configured as a Hunt group, but it is the way it is.

I can see where in the station attribute I can assign the Zone, however I cannot find a parameter that I can set for the Hunt group.
Nonetheless the Hunt is configured on different time zone than switch default time zone. I can't seem to find where though.

Is there such thing as controlling HUNT/PICKUP group timezone form the MCD/3300 or am I looking for something non-existent.... and should I be looking in the NuPoint/CallDirector for this setting?

Go to the MB in NuPoint, select advanced view, select the Misc tab, select your time zone offset.

Checked the offset.
Offset is set to "0".

Yet certain malboxes are working in different time zones.

GZgidnick - How are you determining that "the Hunt is configured on different time zone than switch default time zone."? If it's a Call Director MB, then I assume it is an Auto Attendant. Maybe you have a scheduling issue within the Call Flow? Since it is not a basic MB with messages left in it with time stamps, I'm not sure where your seeing the time being wrong. Is the NuPoint and the MCD in the same time zone? Are they both using NTP?
