Hi,
I have 21 extensions, neither want personal voicemail, they all divert to a single extension when they are unavailable to take calls. If this single extension is diverted to Nupoint the mailbox needs to be able to record messages irrespective of the original number dialled. It's easy if there's a maximum of 5 extensions but any ideas on how to achieve what's needed in the real world ?
Appreciate any help offered ! Thank you

Forward the extensions to a NAME TAG hunt group. then forward that group to voicemail. The messages will be left in the mailbox of the hunt group and not the individuals mailbox.

Where can I find the NAME TAG hunt group? We have an Mxe III rel 6.0 SP2. I can only see Personal Ring, Multi-device, Hunt, Ring, Pickup, and Page Groups.

It's a type of hunt group. Create a new hut group and you'll find "Name Tag" in one of the drop downs.
Forward the hunt group to VM.
Forward your phones to the hunt group.
The mailbox number must match your new hunt group.

Aah! Thanks! We'll definitely use this feature soon.

that's great thank you pmhaynes. I've created a NTHG forwarded to VM but it's still picking up the original CLI so may need tweaking somewhere !

Really?!
Just checking....
you have extensions forwarded (or re-route first alternative) to NTHG and then the NTHG call re-routed allways to the voicemail hunt group.
correct?
