Title: Caller ID on external call forward
Post by: mashor on November 24, 2014, 07:16:54 PM
I am having a problem with caller ID on external call forwarding. We are forwarding an extension to an external call center that needs the caller ID of the caller.  If a call is forwarded on a N/A condition the CLID of the original caller is presented. If it forwarded on a "Busy" or "Always Forward" condition (or via call routing) the CLID of the PBX is presented. I cannot find any setting in COS or anywhere else that changes this behavior.

Ok, I'm a bit baffled.
Is there any chance these T1s are QSIG?

No. The wierd thing is that it work on N/A, but not on busy or on call routing. The only thing I can think of is that the system doesn't get the CLID information before the transfer.

We experienced weird issues with ISDN on 5.0 SP2.  It disappeared after we upgraded to release 6.0.
