Post by: markdevoll on November 21, 2014, 11:28:31 AM
i have a system with 8 turnks with caller id. because of the way they want it to ring i had to use a hunt group. it shows transfer from the hunt group and not the caller id. how can i fix this?

I have this same issue. I'm assuming you're wanting to see the company/caller name, not just the phone number?

Make sure the Expanded CO Call Information on Displays and Outside Party Call Information Has Priority flags are enabled on all stations.

Press F1 for help when in the flags screen; it's spelled out pretty clearly.

Markdevoll,

Try setting the All Transient Displays flag to No on one of your stations and see if that works. If not then set the Alternate Transient Display Timer to Yes and then go to Timers and Limits and set the Digital/IP Phone Alternate Display Timer from 10 to 1 and see if that works.

Obviously test this on a single phone first to see if it works prior to implementing it on all stations.

Thanks,

TE
