Title: SIP TCP Dump Command
Post by: irongladiator on November 07, 2014, 12:45:34 PM
Hello all,
I was curious if someone could give me a step by step on how to use this command. The way I understand it is you input this command under the "Maintenance Commands" form you turn it on, perform your test, then turn it off. And can retrieve a .pcap file when you FTP to the 3300. The use Wireshark to analyze. Or maybe I'm completely misunderstanding on how to use it. (See below or attached jpeg)

Yep and after playing with it a bit, I got it to give me a .pcap. Pretty cool! This is gonna be very helpful when our carrier wants "Proof".

All,
Also it says that it is strongly recommended that we delete the .pcap files from the MCD via FTP. So....how is that done exactly? I've hit Alt-View-Open FTP site in File Explorer" but I can't view the directory...thoughts?
