Hi All,
Long time since i have posted here due to lack of errors/other reasons :) Hope everyone is well.
I've noticed the below logs appearing on a 3300 and they are being logged every minute. However, i have been unsuccessful in researching what they mean. So, i was wondering if any of you peeps would be able to point me in the right direction.
The two logs are:
Software
2267
Error
2014/Oct/27
06:56:14
OSA
MSTCPPostErrStack: MiSocketTCPImpl:: (SSL_ERROR_SSL) (error:140760FC:SSL routines:SSL23_GET_CLIENT_HELLO:unknown protocol)
Main
MiSocketTCP.cpp;2192
Software
2266
Warning
2014/Oct/27
06:56:14
OSA
MiSocketTCPImpl:: SSL operation failed SSL_ERROR_SSL.
Main
MiSocketTCP.cpp;2301
the system is a CXII, running MCD 5.0 SP2 PR2 - 11.0.2.66
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would suspect that this is related to the current round of SSL flaws (PUPPET), and stuff trying to exploit it. Is this system exposed directly to the internet, or do you have a firewall in front of it? If you can get by without direct remote management I would close those off with a firewall if possible. I require anyone trying to access our MCD to connect to a VPN to reach it.

Cheers Prime,
It's on a secure network that's extravagantly locked down with no direct external access. Like your setup, you have to be on the network to access it.
Cheers
