Title: 5324 Ability To Tell User if line is busy?

I have a staff member who regularly calls her supervisor.  She would like to know if her supervisor is on the line before calling so she doesn't go to voicemail or bother her.  Is there any way to do this on the 5324?

Yup, program a key on the staff members phone as a dss/blf of the supervisors DN.

I think you can put a DSS button on the phone.

Set it to NO RING so when the boss's phone rings it won't ring on her phone.
If it's lit, the boss is on the phone.  If not, the user can press it and it will ring the phone.
