Have a user who works remotely and uses UCA.. he has a softphone set up and configured but when he tries to switch the active device on the UCA desktop client, the soft phone icon has a red X. I did a screenshare with the user and checked the configuration menu within UCA and his SIP Softphone is enabled... he was set to use a headset for Mic/Speakers but I set those to system default and he still has the same issue. So my question is what else would cause this red X?

Look at some of my previous posts on this issue. Also tell us the model of the PBX. Licensing and ports openings for starters.
