Title: Old MX controller's RAM
Post by: bpone on September 18, 2014, 05:04:57 AM
Hello
a customer has an old MX controller (Part number:50004190), running software ICP 9.
This controller does not have 512 RAM, so i cannot upgrade it to MCD.
Does anyone know if there is additional RAM i can add to the controller?
Otherwise i will have to replace the controller itself.
Thanks in advance.

Pretty sure you are going to have to get new controller.

Not upgradeable due to being hard soldered.

I may be wrong, but there is a 256 mod. that you can add to certain systems, but maybe not the MX, that will bring you up to 512. P/N 56005086RC. You'll have to check the hardware man. to see if the MX accepts this. Sorry if it doesn't.
