Greetings,
I have a bit of an odd call rerouting issue. Here is what I have configured:
System Speed Call 2326 is directed to our answering service
Select lines are directed to this SSC in Night1 and Night2; this works just fine
If I change the routing on Day to 2326, everything works fine
The odd behavior is when I set SSC 2326 to First or Second Call Rerouting alternatives. The calls connect but there isn't any audio. I know the calls connect because a) we get an email notification from the answering service and b) the same behavior is present when I set my cell number as a SSC.
Any ideas as to why the rerouting to the SSC would work as an "Always" alternative, but not First or Second alternatives?
Many thanks,
bcolt

What kind of trunks are the calls going in/out on?

We have SIP trunks for both in & out.
Thanks,

My first guess here would be to take a look at the SIP peer.
Depending on your software level you may see an option for avoiding signaling re-directs. (I can't remember the exact option.)
Try changing it to yes.
It's a pure guess on my part, just something to try.
If you don't have the latest version of 6.0 then you may not have that option.
In that case perhaps someone else here will have a better idea.

Given that it is SIP trunks I would do a sip tcpdump on a non working and a working call to see what the differences are. My initial guess would be the difference in the number that is sent back out again, but then I wouldn't expect the call to work at all, so it may not be that, but a look at the SIP headers would probably identify what would be going on.
