Title: mitel 3300 call dropping

Calls both incoming and outgoing are dropping intermittently. Lots of logs regarding the below every few mins?? - no major alarm on system but can anyone identify where the problem lies? I've contacted the ISDN 30 supplier to run checks their side.

If you do a DTS Re <plid> on the PRI is it 100%?
I suspect you may be losing sync and dropping it's D-channel.


I've seen something similar where the T1 to prem was 100% but there was a T3 somewhere that was dropping.
It took a long time before the carrier quit blaming us.

Thanks Ralph, i'll keep an eye on it as its been stable for 48hrs now. They ISDN carrier has advised to faults their end and an engineer has visited the local exchange and confirmed no issues so will see how it goes.

The logs you provided are related to an extension, not trunks.

This command can be helpful if you want to see when a call dropped, why and which side asked to drop the call (CO or PBX)

EDT TRACE VDSU NAMNUM <plid>
