Title: MBG users disconnecting

I have a site with MBG in a DMZ running

Today, multiple users connected to multiple MCDs disconnected and reconnected. The logs show lost set connection with SS read failed Connector reset (104).

you had a brief network outage to the internet, by the looks of it.

Why would it have only affected some of the users and not all of them?

two possibilities.

1. those user had a part of the internet in common and the outage was limited to somewhere other than your local provider's access.

2. the outage was brief enough so that only the sets mbg was actively sending messages to were being detected as not response by the tcp stack, the idle sets were just lucky to slip by the outage such that it was resolved by the time we sent to them.
