Title: Beeping
Post by: Mattmayn on August 07, 2014, 04:57:49 PM
I have a user complaining about two quick high pitched beeps every twenty seconds. She claims that it happens on her cordless handset, on a corded handset and on speaker. Any ideas? MCD 4.2

I checked her COS and  silient monitor is disabled, so that is ruled out. She does have a PRG which has one member absent, but that shouldn't do anything either.

We had a similar at one of our clients. Ended up being the user's smartphone too close to desk phone. Make sure this isn't the case.

Usually when I see this it's because batteries are low either in the headset or the headset base.

It is a wireless handset and the battery status on the phone states that it is fully charged.

Think impairing and repairing my change anything?

Certainly wouldn't hurt to try.  I don't think it would do much for it though.
Any chance this phone is being recorded?

I don't think they have anything to do that with. I'll check in a bit.

Removing and replacing the wireless accessory module resolved this issue.
